Thoughts on Extreme Rules 2012

Just finished reading the results for WWE Extreme Rules 2012 (Minor spoiler alert ahead if you haven't seen it or read what happened.  here are the results)  I will be watching the show later this week with a full report













Sounds like it was a good show.  Glad to see Layla back.  not a fan of her's, but it is always good to see someone back after a major injury like that.

Disappointed that Cody Rhodes won.  Not because I don't like him, but because of the way it ended.  Realistically I don't know how he could have put Big Show through a table, but for it to end because he was climbing on a table and it broke?  kind of stupid.  Guessing this feud will continue, probably ending at Over The limit.

On a related note, for anyone who thinks the Roulette Wheel isn't rigged,.apparently they were selling shirts that said something along the lines of "Cody's Choice, Tables Match" at the show.  I'm guessing they decided to go with the Roulette Wheel after those got sent to the printers.

Am I disappointed that Daniel Bryan lost?  Yes.  Haven't seen it yet, so maybe it makes sense (I have done that before) but it seems like they had him lose so that Sheamus and Alberto Del Rio could feud over the title, which isn't a bad match up, but doesn't seem to be something the fans at the shows have been to excited about.  Meanwhile one of the best wrestlers on the roster will most likely be stuck in a stalker angle with AJ.  Nothing wrong with that and it might be really good, but at the moment, just seems stupid to me.

Sounds like matches of the might were Punk VS Jericho and Cena VS Lesner.  expected nothing less from any of them.  Can't wait to see them, especially Punk VS Jericho, two of my favorites.  Cena May have injured his arm, which would suck, but it happens.  Down side, there have been reports that Beth Phoenix injuring her ankle was the first of a series of "Injury" storylines that they will be doing, and if that is try then that might be what this is.  He deserves some time off, he has earned it.  but if it is for storyline reasons, kind of sucks.
